This page explains how EU customers can return an order, request a refund, or exercise their legal right of withdrawal.
If your BOGS® are not quite right, you can request a return using our EU Returns Portal. Most EU customers can purchase a prepaid return label for €5 through the portal.
We do not currently offer exchanges for EU orders. If you need a different size or style, please place a new order and return the original item for a refund.

Once your request has been submitted, you will receive confirmation and return instructions by email.
Your EU Right of Withdrawal
EU customers have the legal right to withdraw from an online order within 14 days of receiving the final item in their order, without giving a reason.
After telling us that you wish to withdraw, you then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Our standard EU returns period is 30 days from receiving your order. This does not affect your legal right of withdrawal.
Return Conditions
To receive a refund, returned items must meet the following conditions:
- Items must be returned in an unworn and unused condition.
- Shoes must only be tried on indoors and must be returned in “as new” condition.
- Items must be returned in their original shoebox with labels attached.
- Please do not tape or attach labels directly to the shoebox. Please use suitable outer packaging.
- If returned items are worn, damaged, soiled, or handled beyond what is reasonably needed to inspect them, we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value.
Return Cost
Most EU customers can purchase a prepaid return label for €5 through our EU Returns Portal.
If you prefer, you may arrange your own return courier. If you use your own courier, return shipping costs are your responsibility. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service.
How to Return Your Order
Please register your return through our EU Returns Portal before sending anything back.
Once registered, please follow the on-screen instructions, pack your shoes securely in their original shoebox inside suitable outer packaging, include your return confirmation inside the parcel, and drop off the parcel as instructed.
Returns using the €5 label are sent to a local returns hub before being processed.
Using Your Own Courier
If you choose to arrange your own courier, please complete the return process online first and include your return confirmation inside the parcel.

If using your own courier:
- Return shipping costs are your responsibility.
- We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service.
- We are not responsible for items lost in transit.
- Please email hello@bogsfootwear-eu.com with your order number and tracking details once shipped.
Faulty Items
If you believe your item is faulty, please do not use the returns portal.
Instead, please email hello@bogsfootwear-eu.com with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the issue, including the outsole
- A short explanation of the fault
If the item is confirmed as faulty, we will cover the cost of return and provide further instructions.
Your statutory rights under applicable EU consumer protection laws are not affected.
Refunds
Refunds are processed after your return has been received and inspected.
Refunds are usually processed within 5–10 working days of your return being received.
Refunds are issued to your original payment method via Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna, or your selected payment provider.
If you exercise your legal right of withdrawal and return your full order, we will refund the cost of the goods and the standard delivery charge paid at checkout, where applicable. We do not refund any additional cost for premium or non-standard delivery services.
The €5 return label cost, where used, is not refunded unless the item is confirmed as faulty.
